Spring Fun: Sporting Events
Your local High Schools and Colleges have some excellent athletic teams. Lacrosse, both guys and girls, Softball and Baseball to name a few. Typically the games are free or the entrance fee is very reasonable.
Spring Fun: Bike Trails
Many towns have converted old railroad routes into bike trails. Depending on the surface of the trail -- you and your family can walk, ride bikes, jog, skateboard and roller skate.

The Boston Area abounds with great museums for families. Some towns even have free passes to some of these, so check with your town or library first. Here are a few of our suggestions:
